2Wire holds open house this week

Meet the newest high-tech business to move into western Nevada County.

The San Jose-based provider of broadband service delivery platforms, 2Wire, has expanded, becoming the first tenant at the Nevada City Tech Center.

2Wire will hold an open house from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday in the historic Maidu Grove area of , 310 Providence Mine Road, Nevada City. Call 470-1740 ext. 2 for details.

“The Nevada City office is a state-of-the-art, high-tech facility built to house technical research and development operations supporting 2Wire’s line of broadband residential gateways and multimedia platforms,” the company said in a prepared statement.
