Youth Summer Day Camps offered at The Curious Forge

Submitted to The Union

As the largest makerspace in the region, The Curious Forge Arts Center is on a mission to inspire creativity and spread the passion of art and making with all. As part of this mission, the Forge offers The Youth Maker Series summer program to kids aged 8 to 17. The program brings youth the opportunity to explore and learn exciting new creative skills in a wide range of fine, industrial and tech arts. All of the courses offered in the program build useful hands-on making abilities, as well as experience in creative personal expression.

Four and five day Camps start the weeks of June 14 and run through Aug. 12. Check out The Forge’s event calendar to see what a wide array of activities offered, including MIG Welding, Skateboard Building, Glass Flameworking, Ceramics, Computer Programming & 3D Modeling, Glass Fusing, Silk Painting, Laser Cutting and more.
