Summer camp season is fast approaching.

The Union will insert its annual Summer Camp Guide in the May 4 edition.

Meanwhile, there are some ads in today’s Family Focus section — and one day camp listing below to get you started.

LOVING FOOD

Here is one local Nevada County day camp that is billed as “the tastiest camp in town.”

The Sierra Harvest Food Love Project Camp runs 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. daily from July 10-14 and July 17-21, with each day having its own unique theme around food and farming.

The size of the program is kept small to ensure that each child gets to explore his or her own interests and take on farm responsibilities.

FLP camp is open to kids ages 6 to 11.
