The exhibit, “Whispers Across the Land” opens November 25 and runs through January 15. An opening reception will be held December 9 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Her art comes from listening for the whispers from nature. Whispers are the deeper meanings and mysteries of the Ancients which appear in the images to describe what has been, and what can be.

Mineral ochres in reds, yellows, turquoise, purple, black or green…all are individually ground, and eventually, each is mixed with walnut oil and a bit of softened beeswax into a smooth creamy paste. Here their true colors whisper from the earth. Some are brilliant and some are subdued…some are speaking softly while others may roar.
