Stefan Jackiw made his professional debut at the age of 12, when Boston Pops director Keith Lockhart invited him to perform on Opening Night in 1997. In 2000, he made his European debut with the Philharmonica Orchestra in London, and the critically acclaimed performance landed Jackiw’s picture on the front page of The Times, while The Strad reported that “a 14-year-old violinist took the London music world by storm.” Jackiw will perform at 2 p.m. today with a 1:15 p.m. pre-concert forum at the Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 12889 Osborne Hill Road, Grass Valley.
