Comeback of the cocktail on screen at Nevada Theatre

The documentary film “Hey Bartender” will be screened at 7:30 p.m. Sunday as part of the ongoing Nevada Theatre Film Series from Sierra Theaters.

Running time for the unrated film is 92 minutes.

“Hey Bartender” goes behind the scenes with unprecedented access to the most exclusive bars in New York City.



Featuring some of the most skilled bartenders from around the world, plus an up-and-comer trying to get his big break and a neighborhood tavern owner just trying to hang on, the film serves up a delicious and intoxicating blend of stories to entertain the audience in a whole new way.

“Hey Bartender” is the story of the rebirth of the bartender and the comeback of the cocktail.




It features the world’s most renowned bartenders and allows access to the most exclusive bars in New York with commentary from Graydon Carter, Danny Meyer and Amy Sacco, according to the film’s producer.

The film was directed by Douglas Tirola.

Tickets for the Nevada Theatre Film Series are $8 for adults, $7 for seniors (62 and older) and children 12 and under.
