Tickets now available for ‘Dead Man’s Cell Phone’

Tickets are now on sale for Sierra Stages’ last show of the 2016 season — “Dead Man’s Cell Phone.”

‘Dead Man’s Cell Phone” is an off-center romantic comedy by contemporary playwright Sarah Ruhl.

The director is Sharon Winegar (who directed Sierra Stages’ “The Cripple of Inishmaan” at the Nevada Theatre this past spring). The cast includes Nevada County actors Chase Coney, Lyra Dominguez, Paulette Gilbert, Jonathan Hansard, Wendy Willoughby and Sharon Winegar.

There are 11 performances of “Dead Man’s Cell Phone” over three weekends (Sept 29 — Oct. 16): Thursdays at 7 p.m.; Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m.; and Sundays (Oct. 2 and Oct. 16) at 2 p.m.

Performances are at Off Center Stage, 315 Richardson St., Grass Valley (behind The Center for the Arts). Seating is limited!

The first two performances on Sept. 29 & 30 are lower-priced “previews” with $20 general admission. For all other performances, general admission is $25.

Reserved Seating is $35 and is available for audience members who wish to select specific seat locations in advance and provide additional financial support for the production and Sierra Stages.
