Tibetan bowl concert Saturday, Nov. 7, in Nevada City

Nationally known Sounds True recording artist, educator and author Diáne Mandle will perform a Tibetan bowl concert Saturday at 7 p.m.

The concert will take place at The Golden Mandala, next to the Nevada Theatre in Nevada City, behind Mana Beads at 417 Broad St. No. B.

Guest mandala singer Skyler Myers will join Mandle on stage.

The concert is an intense transformational sound immersion with ancient Tibetan bowls, gongs and percussion to soothe, inspire and awaken the body, mind and spirit.

The concert is designed to relieve stress, enlighten the mind and bring people into a transcendent state of being.

The only state certified Tibetan bowl practitioner and educator in California, Mandle currently offers sound sessions for deep relaxation and healing to incarcerated veterans with PTSD and has worked in the medical setting with cancer patients.

Bring a mat and pillow to lie on.

Tickets are $25 in advance and $30 at the door. Call 530-584-9642 for more information.
