Special guest performance at 4th Sunday Milonga

Adrian Jost, the bandoneon player in the well-regarded tango orchestra Trio Garufa, will be playing for Tango Nevada County’s 4th Sunday Milonga this weekend. From noon to 4 p.m. Sunday, Adrian will play his bandoneon, talk about the music and the acccordian-like tango instrument, and dance with the group at the Golden Empire Grange. Their regular tango instructor Sean Dockery will join Adrian in DJ-ing traditional tango music from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., after the hour-long musicality session. Admission is $15 at the door. The Golden Empire Grange is just off La Barr Meadows, just off McKnight/South Auburn exit off Hwy 49. 11363 Grange Lane, Grass Valley. For more information, email tangonevadacounty@gmail.com
