The Sacramento Music Festival, an outdoor music experience hosted in the festive streets of Old Sacramento during Memorial Day weekend, runs through Monday in various venues across Old Sacramento.

“The stages are set, the sound systems have been checked, and we’re ready to show 25,000-plus attendees a great time,” said Tom Duff, festival director of the Sacramento Music Festival, before the first performances kicked off on Friday. “We’re excited to get started.”

Festival organizers are encouraging festival attendees to plan ahead by visiting SacMusicFest.com for information on schedules and parking information. A festival information booth is located in Old Sacramento at 2nd and K Streets.

The Sacramento Music Festival is a safe, four-day, all-day party featuring live music, 100 plus unique performances, street dancing, animated parades, instruments booming, and great food and drink in an energetic atmosphere. Back by popular demand, the festival celebrates its 43rd annual presentation.

The Sacramento Music Festival, previously known as the Sacramento Jazz Jubilee, is a fundraiser of the not-for-profit Sacramento Traditional Jazz Society.
