Trinity Episcopal Church

Easter is often called the “Super Bowl of church attendance.” Just like on Super Bowl Sunday, when people who seldom watch football games faithfully watch that one, Easter Sunday is when many who seldom attend church attend. There is no better place to go for Superbowl Church Sunday than Trinity Church, where Easter will be a celebration of sight, sounds and smells. While the 8:00 a.m. and the 9:30 a.m. are for those who prefer less pomp and circumstance, the 10:30 a.m. service pulls out all the stops in its celebration of Easter. This pageantry of praise will begin with handbells heralding in the procession of the celebrants, led by the Cross. With the waft of incense in the air, the cantor’s chant will begin the liturgy. Then the renown Trinity choir and resonant pipe organ will join with the congregation in musical adoration of the risen Christ. Father Christopher Seal will be the officiant and Father Brad Helmuth will give the homily for that service. Afterwards, there will an Easter egg hunt on the grounds for the children, a pleasure for the children and all who watch. All are always warmly welcomed at Trinity Church, especially on this wondrous Sunday. Be there a little early to have a seat on the 50 yard line for the 10:30 a.m. kick-off!
