Pioneer Arts Club opens 32nd annual exhibit

What: 32nd Annual Pioneer Arts Club Spring Membership Show

When: April 6- 27 (Gallery hours: noon-5 p.m., Monday-Saturday); Artist’s reception: 1-3 p.m. Sunday, April 12.

Where: The Center for the Arts, 314 Main St., Grass Valley

The Pioneer Arts Club of Grass Valley will present their 32nd annual Spring Membership Show.

This exhibition features original works of fine art and photography by local artists. At the Reception and Awards ceremony from 1-3 p.m. Sunday there will be an opportunity to meet the artists.

The club is pleased to have as their judge Noel Sandino, a mural artist specializing in realistic scenic landscapes, creative underwater scenes and reproductions of ancient settings such as a roman garden room. Noel has been a featured artist at the Blue Moon gallery and is currently a member of High Hand Art Gallery in Loomis.

Pioneer Arts Club, Inc, one of the oldest arts organizations in Nevada County, is celebrating its 50th year promoting the visual arts in this community.

The show will be at the Center for the Arts, 314 W. Main St. in Grass Valley.
