Love Train is a six-piece dance band that taps into the same gold vein of ‘60s soul and R&B as the Blues Bros and the Commitments.

Belting out soul hits from Wilson Picket, Otis Redding, Aretha Franklin, the O’Jays, Sam and Dave, Stevie Wonder and many more, Love Train delivers a powerfully funky vintage soul groove.

The ensemble is fronted by bassist Karel Hendee and guitarist Jonathan Lyerly, backed by Tim Bulkley on drums and a three-piece horn section with stories to tell about jamming with The Temptations. Love Train will be performing at the Golden Era Lounge on Friday, April 19. There will be a cover charge of $5.
