Parent U returns to Sierra College campus in Grass Valley

Parent U, a series of workshops designed to empower parents of middle and high school age students, returns for a second year to Sierra College from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Oct. 24.

The free seminar is for parents who want to intentionally raise their children for success.

Parent U offers free registration, childcare, parking, and lunch.



Workshops are designed to empower parents with information, skills and resources to support the potential of their growing youth.

Returning by popular request are workshops presented by speakers such as Detective Zack LaFerriere (GVPD) and Rose Murphy (NJUHSD).




Several new speakers will also be added this year.

Keynote speaker will be national entertainer Barry Friedman of Nevada County.

Registration is free (includes parking, childcare, and lunch). Space is limited
