OLLi Orchestra concert canceled

The Union staff

An orchestra concert originally scheduled for this evening at the Sierra College Nevada County campus has been canceled. The “OLLi oLio” Concert was slated to begin at 7:30 p.m. tonight.

The concert was being presented by the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at Sierra College. Each semester, the college offers non-credit classes in a variety of disciplines. Classes are open to lifelong learners who are interested in exploring educational opportunities in film, art, history, literature, health, science, and of course, music.

According to OLLi’s website, the concert has been canceled due to the illness of Conductor Steve Miller.
