Local artist Nick Vogt to display paintings Sunday

Local artist Nick Vogt will display his paintings of area historical sites from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at “Pioneer Days” in Meadow Vista.

Vogt will have a booth featuring a display of his “Paintings of Historical Significance.”

He is offering a $10 discount for any limited-edition print or original painting.

Here is a schedule for the other “Pioneer Days” activities, beginning at 7 a.m.:

7 – 11 a.m.: Meadow Vista Lions Breakfast at True Value

9 a.m.: 5K Run (Benefit for Colfax High School Cross Country Team)

Noon: Town Parade

1:30 p.m.: Placer County Sheriffs K9 Team Demonstration

2 p.m: Attractions at Meadow Vista Park, including Live Music, CalsStar Helicopters, Food & Craft Booths, Rock Climbing

5 – 8 p.m: Pole Vault Competition at the CTM Gold Country PV Training Center.
