Country singer Lacy J. Dalton will perform at River Highlands Springs Ranch & Healing Center in Smartsville from 3 to 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 24.

The event is a benefit for River Highlands Ranch’s “equine therapy programs,” which help veterans with PTSD and other issues, and Dalton’s “Let ‘Em Run” Foundation, which works to save Nevada’s Wild Horses from slaughter.

Dalton, called by People Magazine the “Bonnie Raitt of Country Music,” will be joined by singer songwriter Jane Rivar and “The Dalton Gang” band.



Dalton, a multiple Grammy nominee, has toured or recorded with Willie Nelson, Merle Haggard, Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, The Oakridge Boys, Kris Kristofferson, Charlie Daniels and many more.

The event is sponsored by Gauthier Vineyards.




Food, beverages, and Wine will be available for purchase- Inexpensive food items will range from —$5- $10 (included in the offerings will be tacos, grilled kabobs and vegetarian options also)
