Holiday help for community kids with the Ponderosa Pines Art and Craft Faire in Grass Valley
November 7, 2018
On Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. the Ponderosa Pines Art and Craft Faire will be in full swing at the clubhouse, located at the Ponderosa Pines Mobile Home Park, 10135 Timberland Dr., Grass Valley, in support of Child Advocates of Nevada County, according to a release.
This year, the free arts and crafts faire is once again providing an opportunity for faire-goers to support Child Advocates of Nevada County — Court Appointed Special Advocates. This will be achieved through the Raffle Extraordinaire, the main event at our Art and Craft Faire.
The Faire will feature 20 talented artisans displaying a wide array of crafts and art work.
Winners will receive a brimming bag filled with handcrafted items from our talented artisans and 100 percent of the proceeds from raffle ticket sales will benefit Child Advocates.
The caring volunteers working with Court Appointed Special Advocates do an amazing job assisting families within the community, from offering support through Court Appointed Special Advocates Welcome Baby and Healthy Babies programs, to helping foster children to school, to finding clothing for kids in need, to helping families struggling with the pressures of life.
Interested attendees will be treated to the sounds, sights, scents and tastes of the holidays, including sparkling decorations, holiday music, and scads of cookies and beverages.
