Hip-hop dance party goes old school

Tiger Lily and MsBe present a ’90s hip-hop dance party Friday to bring the back old-school funky music they grew up dancing to. This event will feature fly girl performances, break dancers, aerialists and guest appearances. Local DJs, including Sight64 and Cold One, will kick the night off, DJ Epik reining from Sacramento will keep the party going. DJ Epik worked as a DJ/producer in Sacramento for more than 15 years and is a three-time Sacramento News & Review Sammy winner for best DJ.

Friday’s dance party kicks off at 10 p.m. with doors opening at 9:30 at The Stonehouse, 107 Sacramento St. in Nevada City. Tickets are $10 for those “dressed to impress” or $15 for the general public. For advance tickets call Tiger Lily at 530-340-3484.
