“Inner Peace Troubadour” Cecilia St. King will give a concert in observance of the 15th anniversary of 9/11.

St. King has dedicated her life to healing the planet through the power of music.

Over her 25-year career, she has performed worldwide. After running from the falling towers of the World Trade Center and discovering cancer in her throat six months later, her focus turned to peace. She is now in her 15th year of touring the United States from coast to coast.

St. King said her work has been endorsed by the United Nations, the M.K. Gandhi Institute for Nonviolence and the National Peace Academy.

Her music, she said, translate spirituality into song, blending American roots music, rock, blues, folk, spirituals and a hint of jazz. Her music is positive and contemporary, non-denominational.

Suggested offering for the event, entitled “Love Wins! Concert for 9/11,” is $10 to $20. The concert is from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at Inner Path, 200 Commercial St., Nevada City.

Proceeds will go to help support the Peace and Justice Center of Nevada County.
