WHEN: 8:30 a.m.




DIFFICULTY: Easy to moderate 3 to 5 miles, carpooling required

 Family Hike on the Hirschman Trail with FREED and the Sierra Club

WHEN: 9:30 a.m.

DIFFICULTY: Easy to moderate (depending on distance), .8 miles (wheelchair accessible) – 5 miles possible (moderate ascending and descending)

WHAT: Run on Tribute Trail with Trkac Running Store

WHEN: 9 a.m.

WHERE: Meet in upper parking lot of Tahoe National Forest headquarters, 631 Coyote Street, Nevada City Runners will depart from Trails Day headquarters through Nevada City to the beautiful Deer Creek Tribute Trail. Runners will cross over Deer Creek on the Nisenan Tribute suspension bridge or “Anqkula Seo” to the Environs Loop on the other side. This is an estimated one-hour, five mile, easy-to-moderate run.

WHAT: Bike Ride with BONC

WHEN: 9:45 a.m.

WHERE: Meet at Tahoe National Forest headquarters, 631 Coyote Street, Nevada City BONC will host an Intermediate to Advanced mountain bike ride at 10 a.m. Meet at the BONC/ IMBA booth at Trails Day headquarters 15 minutes prior to the ride for planning and equipment check. See you there!

WHAT: 2016 Gold Country Trails Council Poker Ride

WHEN: Sign up at 8:30 a.m., ride out at 10 a.m.

WHERE: Skillman Horse Camp on Tahoe National Forest This ride on eight miles of easy to moderate marked trails benefits the building and maintenance of local trails, staging and parking areas around horse camps such as Skillman and Little Lasier Meadow.
