Local artisan crafts, fine arts and delicious treats will be on display at the Schoolhouse 12th annual Holiday Craft Faire.

The Holiday Craft Faire will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the North Columbia Schoolhouse Cultural Center, 17894 Tyler Foote Road, Nevada City, according to a release.

The Ridge has always been rumored to have a lot of "creative" types, and this is the opportunity for those who wish to see for themselves what kind of creations the artists are making.

For the first weekend of December, the North Columbia Schoolhouse packs over 25 artists and crafters in to peddle their hand made wares. Guests will find pottery and ceramics, blown glass ornaments, knit baby booties, teddy bears and angels, soap and ointments, and much more.

In addition to the handmade goods there will also be homemade goodies: pies, cakes, and cookies as well as soups, stews and chili.

Take the scenic drive over the river and through the woods to see and buy one of a kind, handmade treasures, available for this weekend only at the North Columbia Holiday Craft Faire.
