Where is the compassion for patients?

As usual from a libertarian point of view, very disappointing experience with Nevada County Board of Supervisors (except my representative Terry Lamphier) and their county counsel by limiting speech to specific parts of the medical marijuana ordinance, placing deputies in back of us (as if we were a threat?), not being open to going back to negotiations to resolve,

Supervisor Scofield blaming us for the Alta Sierra problem that caused them to pass the ordinance last summer, and passed the final ordinance recently.

Before I testified, I was reading the Preamble of the U.S. Constitution. In the part, it says "… to promote the general welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves …" The role of government isn't only to make law as well as enforce it, it's to resolve conflict between parties. Zoning, regulations, lifting bans, leasing private and government properties would have helped all.

Bans on providers- dispensaries, growers, co-op farmers, charity groups, etc., has made it impossible to help those patients (who are unable to grow) due to our County BOS! To the Nevada County Drug Free and the anti-pot folks: where is your heart, compassion for patients?
