Police blotter: Pornographic calls, drunken man in overalls

Grass Valley Police Department

Thursday

10:47 a.m. — A caller from a business in the 1000 block of Sutton Way reported a man tried to pick up a narcotics prescription with a false Social Security number and birthdate. The man had given the hospital a fake name because he thought they would not treat him if he owed them money; he then went back and explained. No crime was found to have occurred.

1:27 p.m. — A caller from the 600 block of Freeman Lane reported a man with his pants pulled down; he was gone when an officer arrived.

2:39 p.m. — A caller from the 300 block of Dorsey Drive reported the theft of $300 in petty cash.

3:38 p.m. — A man from the 200 block of Washington Street reported packages had been stolen from outside his front door.

5:43 p.m. — A man from the 2000 block of Nevada City Highway reported the theft of a bicycle rack from the top of a vehicle.

6:10 p.m. — A caller from Memorial Park reported juveniles smoking marijuana and shooting AirSoft guns. A second caller reported paintballs coming into the pool area.

6:47 p.m. — A caller from the 200 block of Sutton Way reported receiving pornographic phone calls from neighboring teens.

7:30 p.m. — A caller from the 2000 block of Nevada City Highway reported a man stole bottles of wine and fled on foot.

7:51 p.m. — A man reported juveniles stole his cigarettes.

10:32 p.m. — A woman from the 200 block of Lloyd Street reported she gave someone a ride and now her computer has been stolen.

11:10 p.m. — A caller from the 300 block of Bennett Street reported a physical fight between a man and a woman. It was two brothers and both were OK.

Thursday

8:26 a.m. — A man from the 10000 block of Owl Road reported a man stole hydrocodone from him.

11:02 a.m. — A caller from the 12000 block of Mule Canyon Road reported the theft of a generator.

11:04 a.m. — A caller from the 10000 block of Spenceville Road reported a person was stealing wood chips.

12:23 p.m. — A caller from the 10000 block of Manzanita Drive reported several break-ins at a rental property.

2:36 p.m. — A caller from the 11000 block of McCourtney Road reported an unlocked vehicle was broken into Monday and a computer, jewelry and wallet were taken.

3:51 p.m. — A caller from Brook End and McCourtney Road reported vandalism and the theft of light fixtures and a street sign.

4:51 p.m. — A caller from the 12000 block of Lowell Hill Road reported credit card fraud.

6:29 p.m. — A caller from the 15000 block of Greenhorn Access Road reported a burglary and the theft of items from a boat.

9:07 p.m. — A caller from Keenan Way and Names Drive reported two spot fires.

9:23 p.m. — A caller from the 20000 block of New Rome Road reported a large drunken man wearing overalls but no shirt was trespassing on private property, then left.

11:06 p.m. — Several callers from the 12000 block of Incline Shaft Drive reported a large loud party. The party was located and they agreed to quiet down.

Friday

1:58 a.m. — A caller from the 22000 block of West Hacienda Drive reported trespassers on Harley Davidsons who then left at a high rate of speed.

2:28 a.m. — A caller from Torrey Pines Drive reported a loud party.

Thursday

12:30 p.m. — A caller from Providence Mine Road reported hearing six gun shots.

5:09 p.m. — A caller from North Pine Street reported the theft of a cell phone.

7:24 p.m. — A caller from Pioneer Park reported possible drug deals.

Friday

9:16 a.m. — A caller from Clay Street reported the theft of a white Chevrolet pickup truck.
