8:59 a.m. — A caller on the 500 block of West Main Street reported money stolen from vehicle.

4:03 p.m. — A caller on the 200 block of North Church Street reported witnessing an individual break into a home.

12:58 p.m. — A caller on the 700 block of Freeman Lane reported a dog in a vehicle with the windows up and the animal appeared to be in distress.

1:53 p.m. — A caller on the 700 block of Sutton Way reported locking herself out of a running vehicle with a small child inside.

2:37 p.m. — A caller on the 600 block of Sutton Way reported a transient followed her into a restaurant.

7:07 p.m. — A caller on the 100 block of South School Street reported a female wearing underwear and a tiara, who came outside and appeared upset but declined an offer for help.

10:04 p.m. — A caller at a business on the 100 block of South School Street reported a male and a female shoplifted.

10:55 p.m. — A caller on the 100 block of East Berryhill Driver reported several homeless campers making comments that scared the caller’s children. Officers advised individuals at three separate campsites of the city’s camping ordinance and instructed them to disperse at daylight.

9:21 a.m. — A caller on the 16200 block of Duggans Road reported being scammed out of $3,000 on the internet.

12:32 p.m. — A caller on Highway 20 in Nevada City reported a bread truck with its back door open dropped crates into the roadway.

3:40 p.m. — A caller on the 10800 block of Squirrel Creek Road reported a theft at a school.

4:36 p.m. — A caller on the 11500 block of Red Dog Road reported the theft of a commercial-grade freezer.

5:39 p.m. — A caller on the 11600 block of Emerald Lane reported multiple subjects and their dogs camping out on the caller’s property.

8:48 p.m. — A caller on the 11400 block of Ridge Road reported a burglary in progress.

3:47 a.m. — A caller on the 11700 block of Ragan Way reported his grandson denied he stole more than 50 pills of Oxycotin, then left on foot with his girlfriend.

10:53 a.m. — A caller on the 18700 block of Dog Bar Road reported his son was stabbed in the backyard by his girlfriend.

4:25 p.m. — A caller on the 13000 block of Pine Cone Court reported a residential burglary and items stolen.

5:06 a.m. — A caller on Sun Ridge Court near Highway 20 reported a “bad” accident in which a Toyota hit a tree, but no driver was found.
