Grass Valley auto detailer filmed segment with Jay Leno

Bear River High School graduate T.J. O’Brien is still on cloud nine about his March 23 filming with Jay Leno for a segment to appear on his automotive website.

“It went great. It was a really fun weekend,” O’Brien said. “It was phenomenal.”

O’Brien, 20, was in Burbank to appear on “Jay Leno’s Garage” in regard to his innovative steam-detailing business, TJ’s Auto Spa.

O’Brien and his father, Tim O’Brien, took their 1968 California Special Ford Mustang to Leno’s garages for the segment.

O’Brien said he sat next to Leno at lunch for a candid talk off-camera over pizza, as well as shot him in the face with his steam cleaner while filming, an action that elicited laughed on set.

O’Brien expects the video to appear on Leno’s site in about month.
