Community Asian Theatre of the Sierra is to be commended for hosting an extremely successful Chinese New Year event in Nevada City. Robinson Plaza was filled with a large crowd of celebrants. After winding their way down Commercial Street from the monument built to commemorate the early Chinese in Nevada County, five lions blessed the crowd for good luck and fortune in this year of the snake.
