Vandalism at 2 schools in Penn Valley area

Hundreds of dollars in damages was incurred over the weekend by Ready Springs and Pleasant Valley schools in the Penn Valley area. The vandalism included random spray paint on walls and a drinking fountain, some signs and coat hangers torn down, he said. “One of the spray-painted walls looked like it had the word ‘stinky’ on it,” said Sgt. Tim Werner of the Nevada County Sheriff’s Office.
