Sierra Friends of Tibet and Tibetech.org will present a special art talk with Geshe Lobsang Tsultrim. Geshela (a title similar to a Ph.D., indicating an earned degree) is an internationally recognized Tibetan sacred artist specializing in thangka art. Thangka, which in Tibetan means “rollable scroll,” is one of the major art-sciences in Tibetan Buddhism. The origin of the art form can be traced back to the time of the historic Buddha.
