Sara Schell led the Lady Bruins with 13 kills, Kirsten Pereira added six kills, Teryn Rath chipped in five kills and two blocks, and freshman Kaely Rath had four. Kaya Johnson set the table for the Lady Bruins with 26 assists on the night.

Del Oro 2, Nevada Union 1
Del Oro played a fast-paced game, giving Nevada Union no time with the ball, and the Golden Eagles’ speedy tempo paid off early when a striker reacted quickest to a loose ball and fired it into the bottom corner of the net from 15 yards out.
Del Oro kept pressing and hit the crossbar twice with long-range shots.
In the second half, NU goalie Zane Weinberger was forced into action and responded with two last-ditch saves to keep the score at 1-0. With time running out, NU finally started to get into the game with Sean Anderson getting close twice with headers that just carried over the goal.
David Bernadett then came tantalizingly close with a long-range chip from the right, which shaved the post. But pushing for the equalizer left NU exposed and a swift Del Oro counter-attack down the right culminated in a cross and volleyed goal.
NU finally netted a goal from Brandon Schwendemen three minutes from full time.
