Jeff Kotowski: Impeach Trump immediately
July 2, 2017
I would like to summarize just part of what is now undisputed about the Trump administration.
Trump's first foreign policy speech was written by a person on the Russian payroll.
Trump's first Russian adviser was on the Russian payroll.
Trump's first national security adviser, Michael Flynn, received money from a Russian propaganda outlet.
Trump's campaign manager, Paul Manafort, received $1.2 million from a pro-Russian Ukranian political party.
Trump's senior adviser and son-in-law, Jared Kushner, lied about his Russian contacts in order to gain security clearance.
Trump's attorney general, Jeff Sessions, lied to congress under oath and perjured himself in order to be confirmed.
Trump has not released his tax returns for two obvious reasons. One, he has significantly less money that he has stated. And two, he does not want it known the extent to which he is beholden to Russian financial interests.
Trump has admitted to firing of Jim Comey, the FBI director, because he (Trump) wanted to stop the investigation into his Russian dealings. This constitutes an extreme ethics violation in that he is obstructing an investigation.
Trump has refused to separate himself from his business interests. He and his family directly profit from his presidency. This is a direct violation of the Constitution's emoluments clause.
Remember, this is all in the public record and undisputed. By all rational reasoning and ethics, Trump should be immediately impeached. The time in now to act. Make sure your friends and family understand the magnitude of this corruption. Make sure members of the House of Representative understand this. Make sure members of the Senate understand this.
