In response to Ms. Hall’s Other Voices article appearing Feb. 8, I feel it important to note that I was asked to attend the Agenda 21 presentation as a representative of the Sheriff’s Office to provide an overview of contemporary law enforcement issues affecting Nevada County and our state. I was not asked to participate or speak as a proponent of Agenda 21. The audience at the meeting represented a wide variety of beliefs and political affiliations.
