A Grass Valley man ended up in jail on a variety of charges after allegedly fleeing from Grass Valley Police officers Tuesday morning. Officers were patrolling in the 200 block of Dorsey Drive at about 4:30 a.m. because the area had been a hot spot for reports of stolen vehicles, said Capt. Rex Marks. The officers, who were in an unmarked vehicle, saw a car pass them with expired registration tags from 2010, Marks said.
