NU basketball team pitches in at IFM

With multiple boxes of fresh produce, milk, eggs and much more given away every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at Interfaith Food Ministry, it can wear on a volunteer’s back. Thanks to the Nevada Union varsity basketball team, our volunteers got a little break this summer.

With a willingness to help, these young men came for an early morning shift each distribution day to assist with the initial set up of food, unload trucks bringing food in and whatever else was asked of them. Thanks to Jeff Dellis and parents for your help in making service in the community such an important part of everyone’s lives. Thanks to the varsity basketball team members who lightened our load, encouraged us with their enthusiasm and took the time to give to others.
