On Thanksgiving day the clouds parted, the sun came out and around 1,800 people took to Hooper Stadium at Nevada Union High School for the seventh annual Michael Bratton II Turkey Trot. Taking the top spot in the men’s 5K was Nevada Union senior David French, of Chicago Park, finishing in 17 minutes and 16.8 seconds.
