Don't refer to Marines as soldiers

I'm writing this is regard to your excellent coverage and photograph of the ceremony honoring the three fallen Marine heroes, which appeared on the front page of The Union on May 31.

However, I have one (not so small) nit to pick. Marines are extremely proud of the title, United States Marine (we've worked hard to earn it) and of the heritage of our Corps. My point is, in the future, please refer to members of our Corps as U.S. Marines, not soldiers.
