A Grass Valley woman was arrested after she allegedly tried to pay for items with a counterfeit $100 bill, and was linked to a similar incident the week before. An employee at a pharmacy in the 700 block of Sutton Way called to report trying to detain the woman at about 8:30 p.m. Monday, said Grass Valley Police Sgt. Joe Matteoni.
