Ellen Victoria Nash passed away on Dec. 9, 2012, at Golden Empire Convalescent Hospital. She was 96. A memorial service will be held in January at Calvary Bible Church of Grass Valley at a date yet to be determined. Ellen was born Sept. 4, 1916, in her paternal grandparent’s home in Palm City, Calif., to Inez M. (Downs) and Willard A. Lindgren. Ellen’s early formative years were spent in Coronado, Calif., where she attended grade school through the first year of high school.
