A year and a half after their arrest, charges finally have been filed against two Nevada City men who allegedly shipped marijuana to North Carolina. Gavin Alan Gryte, 37, and Hans Kubitschek, 33, were arrested in May 2011 after allegedly shipping marijuana to North Carolina. A package containing marijuana was intercepted by detectives in New Hanover County, N.C., and their investigation allegedly led Nevada County Sheriff’s deputies back to the two men. Local detectives arrested Gryte on suspicion of transporting marijuana for sale at his residence after they allegedly located a substantial amount of packaging material.
