A San Juan Ridge man is suspected to have been driving under the influence when he lost control of his truck and drove off a bridge at Shady Creek Crossing Friday night. William Scott, 27, was driving a 1981 Ford F150 pickup truck when he left the road at about 6 p.m. and “took out the upstream guard rail” at the crossing, said North San Juan Fire Assistant Chief Boyd Johnson.
