Two women ended up in county jail after allegedly fleeing the scene of a solo-vehicle crash in Grass Valley Tuesday night. Grass Valley Police and California Highway Patrol officers responded to Highway 49 at Empire Street, where a Ford pickup truck went off the road and struck a tree just before 8:30 p.m., according to dispatch reports.
