Two fires off Wolf Creek Road, most likely sparked by a tree that fell into a power line, kept fire crews busy through the night Sunday. The first fire was reported just after 9 p.m. in the 18000 block of Wolf Creek Road, said Nevada County Consolidated Fire Division Chief David Ray. Firefighters from Cal Fire, Nevada County Consolidated and Higgins responded to the scene to find a tree in power lines, with a 30-by-30 spot fire with arcing lines, Ray said.
