The Bear River girls volleyball team improved to 2-0 in Pioneer Valley League play Tuesday with a straight-set home victory over Lincoln, 25-4, 25-11, 25-18.
The Lady Bruins got 15 kills from senior captain Kirsten Pereira, 10 more kills from Kaely Rath and Teryn Rath slammed down seven kills in the win.
Sophomore setter Savannah Wirth led the team with 31 assists and senior transfer Hannah Christianson held down the libero position with 12 digs and three aces.

Forest Lake Christian 6, Victory Christian 1
The Falcons got a hat trick from senior captain Kevin Hagarty, two more goals from Logan Ray and one more for good measure from Luke Jordan as they trampled Victory Christian Tuesday in a Central Valley California League matchup.
Hagerty's three goals were more than enough for FLC as its defense was staunch, said Falcon head coach Steve Koch.
The defensive trio of Daniel Cuneo, Sean Kadera and Tyler Young allowed only five shots, none of which reached net. Victory's lone goal came on a penalty kick just two minutes into the game. Other than that score, FLC goalie Kyle Soria kept the Vikings out of the net.
FLC senior captain Hunter Semen assisted on two goals, and Ray also had two assists to go with two goals.
The Falcons (8-4-1, 3-0 CVCL) have a bye Thursday, and take the pitch again Oct. 15 against Cristo Rey.
