The Nevada Union Swim team finished its 2013 season last week, competing against 113 other high school teams at the CIF Sac-Joaquin Section meet in Lodi.
Swimmers had to achieve qualifying times in individual events or be part of a qualifying relay team to compete in this meet. The top 16 qualifiers in the May 9 and May 10 preliminary events returned to swim in the finals Saturday.
The varsity girls team of Nicole Blaney, Lisa Ellis, Hayley Chase, Robyn Fernandez and Christie Wurster swam the 200 medley and 200 free relay, qualifying for Saturday's consolation final in the 200 free relay.
