The Penn Valley Major Division Cubs pounded out 13 hits and plated five runs Saturday on their way to a 5-2 victory over the Nevada City Angels.

The Cubs' offense was led by Emily West with a double and a triple, Kyle Farnsworth also added a triple to go with two other base knocks, and Christian Clark went 3-for-3 and drove in three runs. Mason Burns had a breakout game for the Cubs with a pair of hits and two runs scored.
