Round up: Forest Lake Christian wallops Sacramento Adventist

The Forest Lake Christian Girls team started the non-league season off right Thursday, beating Sacramento Adventist in straight sets, 25-10, 25-21, 25-14.

Senior Morgan Koch led the way with nine kills, Emily Pearce added seven kills and nine assists, and Aly English also had nine assists and chipped in five kills, and sophomore Maddie Switzer tallied four kills.

The Lady Falcons are back at it Monday when they face El Dorado.

Jr. High

The Magnolia eighth grade Lady Rattlers defeated the Union Hill Bearcats 51-11.

Kayla Toft led the scoring with 18 points most of which came off tenacious defense. Karinne McDonald had seven points and Kaylee Bohrer and Katelyn Meylor each tossed in six points. The Rattlers moved to 2-0 on the season.
