Erik Flores (Nevada Union, ’05) Web.com Tour — Flores had an up-and-down tourney at the Rex Hospital Open in Raleigh, N.C.
Flores struggled the first day and played incredible the second, but when all was said and done, he was on the outside looking in, as his one-under-par score through two rounds landed him on the cut list.
At the TPC Wakefield Plantation course, Flores shot four over par in the first round with four bogeys, three of which were double bogeys, to only three birdies.
In round two, Flores was much better, scoring below par on five holes, including a hole-in-one on the 16th. He finished the day five-under for the round but one stroke off the cut, which was set at two under.
