The prep lacrosse season officially kicked off last weekend at the Redding Jamboree. The Gold Country Stampede was well represented by several teams who were anxious to show their stuff and start their season.
Teams from all over Northern California converged for tournament play in this annual event.

The Stampede’s U-15 team took the field for a second game at the jamboree Sunday morning, and ran into trouble against an impressive Red Bluff Rhinos team. The Stampede were unable to slow the Rhino’s attack. Red Bluff led the Stampede at halftime by a score of 6-1.
