The prep lacrosse season officially kicked off last weekend at the Redding Jamboree. The Gold Country Stampede was well represented by several teams who were anxious to show their stuff and start their season. Teams from all over Northern California converged for tournament play in this annual event. The Gold Country Stampede’s under-15 team opened league play Saturday against the Pleasant Grove Eagles.
