The Grass Valley Ladies Relief Society would like to say thank you to everyone that participated in this year’s Donation Day on Friday, Dec. 21, in downtown Grass Valley. Unfortunately, due to the weather the local school children were unable to march, but I would like to thank the Marine Corps, the Grass Valley Fire Department, the bag pipers and the Ladies of the GV Ladies Relief Society who did march the streets of downtown Grass Valley, with their presence in town we collected many additional cans of food and monetary donations.
