The Nevada County Adult Sports Association is under new management and with it comes a new vision for recreational sports in the area. Longtime community sports staples Rich Ramirez and Jeff Nye have partnered up and taken over the association, purchasing it from Pierre Ensign for $12,000. Ramirez, who has been involved in Nevada County sports since 1985, and Nye, who officiates and coaches in local youth leagues, have plans to bring a high level of competition and integrity to all sports under the association’s umbrella.
